Philosophy Department of the Center for Humanities and Social Sciences at the Autonomous University Aguascalientes convenes the second
euphyía COMPETITION TEST 2009 PHILOSOPHICAL
euphyía COMPETITION TEST 2009 PHILOSOPHICAL
on the following basis:
1. Modalities : a) undergraduate students, b) graduate students, professors and researchers.
2. Topic : practical rationality and intersubjectivity.
3. Extension : Papers must be submitted to the computer, printed on one side, on letter size paper, with double spacing, Times New Roman 12 (or similar), with margins of 2.5 cm. on all sides (top, bottom, right and left). The extension will be a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 40 numbered pages.
4. Delivery : Each paper should be submitted in duplicate form. On the cover of the copies contain the title of the work, the pseudonym and a summary of a maximum of five lines. In a sealed envelope attached to the outside of the title of the work and the pseudonym, will be given the author's data: name, short bio, address, phone number, city and country of residence and email address.
Each author may submit only one work in one of the categories the competition.
5. Awards: The prize for first place in the undergraduate category will consist of $ 5,000.00 (five thousand dollars), diploma and provision of books, in addition to the text published in the Journal of Philosophy students Firefly. By participating in the contest, the author assigns the rights to the work to Firefly.
The first place prize in the category of teacher, researcher or postgraduate student, consisting of $ 10,000.00 (ten thousand dollars), recognition and publication of the article in euphyía . By participating in the contest, the author transfer the rights to the work to euphyía .
6. Jury: The jury will be composed of renowned personalities appointed by the organizer. The jury reserves the right to declare the contest, if it deems just, and to resolve any situation not covered by this announcement.
7. Shipping : Papers must be delivered or mailed to the address below.

The deadline for receipt of submissions is Friday, May 29, 2009. If the shipment arrives by mail, will be considered the postmark. The jury awarded notify the authors via email or telephone so no later than Monday, July 15, 2009. The results will be published in the magazine's Blog: http://euphyia.blogspot.com/
8. After the contest, individuals not selected will be presented and destroyed.
9. Publication : The mere fact of participating in the contest euphyía grants the right of preference to publish works without having been awarded, may be of interest.
