Philosophy Department of the Center for Humanities and Social Sciences at the Autonomous University Aguascalientes convenes the second

euphyía COMPETITION TEST 2009 PHILOSOPHICAL

on the following basis:

1. Modalities : a) undergraduate students, b) graduate students, professors and researchers.

2. Topic : practical rationality and intersubjectivity.

3. Extension : Papers must be submitted to the computer, printed on one side, on letter size paper, with double spacing, Times New Roman 12 (or similar), with margins of 2.5 cm. on all sides (top, bottom, right and left). The extension will be a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 40 numbered pages.

4. Delivery : Each paper should be submitted in duplicate form. On the cover of the copies contain the title of the work, the pseudonym and a summary of a maximum of five lines. In a sealed envelope attached to the outside of the title of the work and the pseudonym, will be given the author's data: name, short bio, address, phone number, city and country of residence and email address.

Each author may submit only one work in one of the categories the competition.

5. Awards: The prize for first place in the undergraduate category will consist of $ 5,000.00 (five thousand dollars), diploma and provision of books, in addition to the text published in the Journal of Philosophy students Firefly. By participating in the contest, the author assigns the rights to the work to Firefly.

What is and uphyía ? The word is normally translated as talent. Aristotle uses it to refer specifically to the ability to understand (and create) metaphors.
