The Department of Philosophy of the Centre for Social Sciences and Humanities of the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes
convenes the first
PHILOSOPHICAL ESSAY COMPETITION FOR 2008 euphyía
on the following basis:
1. Ways: a) Students in undergraduate philosophy, b) teachers and researchers in any area of \u200b\u200bphilosophy.
2. Topic: Nietzsche and modern man.
3. Participation all persons of any nationality who study the Bachelor of Philosophy (for the first mode) or graduate students, professors and researchers in any area of \u200b\u200bphilosophy (for the second mode.)
4. Size and scope: Work should be submitted to computer on one side printed on letter size paper, with double spacing, Times New Roma 12 (or similar), with margins of 2.5 cm. on all sides (top, bottom, right and left). The extension will be a minimum of 25 and a maximum of 40 numbered pages.
5. Delivery of works: Each paper should be given printed duplicate. On the cover of the copies contain the title of the work, the pseudonym and an abstract of up to five lines. In a sealed envelope attached to the outside of the title of the work and the pseudonym, the actual data will be delivered by the author: name, short bio, address, phone number, city and country of residence and email address.
Each author may submit only one work in one of the categories of the competition.
6. Prizes: The prize for first place in the undergraduate category, consisting of $ 5,000.00 (five thousand dollars), diploma and provision of books, addition to the publication of the text in the Journal of Philosophy students Luxiernaga. By participating in the contest, the author assigns the rights to the work to Luxiernaga.
The first place prize in the category of teacher, researcher or postgraduate student, consisting of $ 10,000.00 (ten thousand dollars), recognition and publication of the article in Euphyía. By participating in the contest, the author assigns the rights to the work to Euphyía.
7. The Jury: The jury will be composed of renowned personalities appointed by the organizer. The jury reserves the right to declare the contest, if it deems just, and to resolve any situation not covered by this announcement.
8. Submission of papers: Papers must be delivered or mailed to the address below.
